Nasty! Nasty! Nasty! Every election the ads become more and more derogatory and the media hype more inflammatory.  Lies, flip-flops, hypocrite, and such are the accusations being presented regarding the opposition; voters are expected to believe their parties’ propaganda.

DISCLAIMER: I am registered No Political Affiliation but consider myself a Conservative and generally vote Republican.

It used to be amusing to see the expression on the faces of those African-American poll workers when I was a registered Republican. Where I live it is assumed you are Democrat regardless of color but particularly if you are Black. As I learn more about the political parties of today those people remind me of how ignorant voters have become.

The political system is a mess today not because those in office are liars, deceptive and out for personal gain but because people keep voting for them.  Registered Democrats believe they have to always vote Democrat. Registered Republicans believe they have to support the Republican candidate.  Why?

Why does a person believe he has to accept everything various members of any given party speaks?

The reason the rhetoric is so out of hand is because people are paying attention to it and not applying common sense. Voters are no longer researching the issues but listening or considering a person’s motives for having particular positions.

For example: Occupy Wall Street and Black Lives Matters two extreme groups was birthed out of the lies from both the media, the politicians and, yes, the pulpits. The “its’ not your fault it is their fault” speech has profited every politician, community organizer, news network, advertiser and identity based church in America. White guilt and Black dis-enfranchisement has led to confused and angry young people who look at America’s history as the problem and not the lesson. Young people want and think they deserve: the latest cell phone, own the best shoes, eat the fastest food, do what they feel like when they feel like it  and be able to not learn at the school of their choice because someone told them they could have it all but the other party would not give it to them. Both Occupy Wall Street and Black Lives Matters want what they did not work for and will not give to others: RESPECT!

Yet, in the eyes of many the only solution is to take a side and destroy the opponent. Why does anyone have to be either or from a political standpoint? Why does a person have to be 100 percent Democrat or 100 percent Republican particularly in 2016 when both parties have some errors in their ways.

I am 100 percent faith in Jesus which is a bad thing in America today. There are both Democrats and Republicans who seem to want to silence Christians while accommodating Muslims; so much for ‘separation of church and state’!  The way things are today I do not think anyone should be 100 percent any party. American’s need to start using common sense and vote their faith!
