A MATTER OF FAITH: BEWARE OF ANGRY PEOPLE

Romans 1:18-20
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness.” Sinners do not have peace and it is not man’s fault; it is not the fault of Conservatives, or Evangelical Christians, or gun owners. They do not have peace because they know God does not approve of what they do; not by the words of people or church doctrine, or government laws it is a knowing from within that we all possess.

I recently learned of the an American Missionary from Africa named Samuel Morris. Born Prince Kaboo in 1873  of the Kru tribe in Africa (Liberia). Prince Kaboo had a personal encounter with God. His journey of faith, which began with the Divine encounter led him to a missionary outside of his home and then to America where he studied the word in depth. His powerful story is far to great to share in this post however it is his story that validates God’s word that all can learn of God.

It does not matter if people say they do not believe in the Creator. It is written: “His invisible attributes are clearly seen…so that they are without excuse.” Prince Kaboo experienced God without knowing him, that experience led him away from his home to a missionary who taught him about Jesus.

Life is a series of choices. Though Prince Kaboo could have returned to his village at any time he chose to be led by the Spirit of God.

Often, unbelievers will say: “I believe in a higher power” while denying the existence of Jehovah Eloheem. It takes a lot of denial to declare a big bang is responsible for the inner workings of the body or the laws of nature including gravity. Knowing that God is who the word says He is, the Creator,  explains things like butterflies, animal instincts, perennial and annual plants and even the life cycle of man.

GOD IS and it takes more effort to deny Him than it does to believe. Again, it is written: “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen.” In order to live a life outside of the will of God one must deny the obvious. For an abortionist to kill an unborn child he must deny that life begins at conception. To actively live a homosexual lifestyle a person must ignore the concept that God created man to fit in a woman. The decision to deny God means that you must shut out the Truth; Christians are a reminder of the Truth.

There are consequences for ungodly and unrighteous behavior established by our Creator. The inability to have peace and sustaining happiness is the direct result of sin, ungodly behaviors.

The sinner will blame others for their inability to feel good about their lifestyle. They will blame: Conservatives, Evangelical Christians, white men, even stay-at-home mothers anyone who believec God’s word to be true. It is their goal, those who do not believe, to force by law or  bullying their ideas upon everyone. The more we reject their life choices the angrier they become.

Because faith in Jesus reminds sinners of their transgressions the greatest display of animosity is towards Bible believing individuals. They are angry because they cannot escape God’s wrath; “the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness.” Since they cannot silence God they try to silence His children.

It is clear that the absence of a personal relationship with God creates problems. Even though we attempt to share God’s love they cannot receive it because they are filled with hate.

1 JOHN 4:8
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

The absence of love allows anger to infiltrate the soul. What we see today is a world of people who do not know what love is and are seeking to fill the void in their souls with desires of the flesh.

GALATIANS 5:16
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Living by how you feel is walking in the flesh. People accept temporary pleasures as a sustainable lifestyle and expect the world to come into agreement with them. To walk in the Spirit means to do those things that please God and to deny your flesh that which is not pleasing to Him.

The story of Prince Kaboo, who changed his name to Samuel Morris is a powerful testimony of what it means to walk in the Spirit.

False teachings have allowed those who actively participate in ungodly behaviors to justify themselves. Today we hear about: the Pope “absolving” the acts of many priest who have committed acts of pedophilia; to absolve is to forgive. Both the old and new covenant speak against homosexuality yet churches have practicing homosexual as leaders, Pastors and such. I suspect that it grieves the Holy Spirit to hear about Pastors speak in  support of Planned Parenthood and their abortion agenda. Yet, this is not enough for sinners they want everyone to agree with their lifestyles.

These false teachers making it harder for those of us who are children of God to share the good news of Jesus. It is sad to know that many do not understand the concept of hating the act of sinning while loving the person. And it is within the context of false teachings and the conviction of the Holy Spirit that those of us who stand on the truth are hated.

MARK 10:13
And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

We cannot be surprised at the intensity of the anger seen today towards Christians. Jesus is coming soon and the Devil knows he is running out of time.  ——Written by Marsha L F Randolph
